My annual travels to a small Italian village have provided a rich storehouse of visual stimulation for my winter easel. My subject matter includes the landscape, the architecture and the people. Living on the west coast of Canada is endlessly inspiring as I attempt to paint the atmosphere and the forms of the west coast.
I have been a signature member (a.f.c.a.) of the Federation of Canadian Artists since 1990. My artwork has been represented in galleries throughout western Canada and is in collections in the U.S., Japan, Italy and across Canada.
I have represented Canada at the international watercolour conference in Fabriano, Italy ( Fabriano in Acquarello ) in 2019 and 2020 and also in 2022.
